"Giving Our Youth A Chance"

This concept and vision is to provide our youth a choice to expose their minds, expose them to choices and careers that make for a productive and hopeful future. Our youth of today must grow and be properly developed for the future in order to grow and become good fathers, mothers and leaders of the next generation.In many cases, many families have not had the advantage and/or opportunities to learn about commerce enterprises and financial matters. With provided mentoring and positive examples, it would encourage them to consider substantial careers. We at Bowman6 strongly believe young people of color most often get a late start but it is never too soon or too early to start thinking independently. Career Day will include the presence of politicians, community leaders, community advocates, entrepreneurs, bankers, financiers, churches, franchise owners, credit unions, beauty/ hair salon owners, retailers, haberdashery and many more. HSA Theatre Alliance presents "All The News"

On Sunday September 26, 2016, Bowman 6 co-hosted an afternoon with the Harlem School of the Arts previewing a play Entitled, “ALL THE NEWS”

HSA Theatre Alliance presents "All The News" a dynamic fast-paced satire of contemporary news programs and infotainment, written by HSA students and directed by HSA Artistic Director Alfred Preisser and Obie Award-winner and HSA Artist-in- Residence, Chris Myers. This performance will employ sketches, jokes and spoken word to explore American culture and the 2016 Presidential Election via the nightly news, social media and music.

Special thanks to Alfred Preisser Artistic Director of Harlem School of the Arts & HSA Theater Alliance for partnering & inviting Bowman 6 Inc. youth and families last Sunday afternoon, September 25, 2016 to be in the audience for this wonderful play inspired by the young people at HSA. In addition, we like to thank both Lashah and Mya of Bowman 6 Inc. for ushering, they did a wonderful job!
